Crain durable CR Leveling Rods are constructed of non-conductive fiberglass and are rectangular in shape with slightly rounded back corners for a better grip. The scale width is graduated to fill the entire face of the rod which makes it easier to view in the field and the measuring scale on the back makes this rod a dual-purpose allowing for overall height readings. Crain CR rods will not gall, dent or kink the way aluminum leveling rods do. These rods have a 1/2 x 20 thread in the top section and an adapter is available for purchase separately to adapt to 5/8 x 11 threads. The CR Series will accept all lasers without a need for a separate bracket to mount the sensor. The sensor clamps directly to the rod without an adapter and there are no dead spots, even at the top of the sections.
